Hello NOLA! Sat in the sun, worked in the sun, basked in the sun, read in the sun – that was today until about 2:00 PM. We headed out for NOLA as I fervently needed some real gumbo. Busy, busy French Quarter, but it was so worth dodging walkers with drinks in their hands just to be back in New Orleans!
Ended up at Landry’s restaurant with a server who grew up in…..Washington! Got my gumbo, TC his jambalaya and enjoyed the atmosphere. Unfortunately the food was shit, very disappointed. We then drove around the city to figure out what we want to do tomorrow…..ANOTHER sunny filled day.
